Coors Light turns a 'case of the Mondays' into literal cases of beer: How to get one

If you've ever had a "case of the Mondays," you know that oftentimes means oversleeping your alarm, getting stuck in traffic, forgetting your cell phone or wallet at home, or all three.

This year, Coors Light is turning the phrase into a literal case of beer with Mondays Light, which is new limited-time packaging "designed to bring chill to one of the worst Mondays of the year" − the Monday after the Super Bowl.

Mondays Light are available for purchase at retailers nationwide for a limited time.

“Let’s face it: the Monday after the Big Game takes ‘Case of the Mondays’ to a whole new level,” said Marcelo Pascoa, Vice President of Marketing at Coors Light, in a news release. “So, we thought, why not turn that classic ‘Case of the Mondays’ into a literal case of Coors Light? Mondays Light is our way of reminding fans to Choose Chill on one of the worst Mondays of the year.”

Case of the Mondays merchandise, including shirts, matching sweat sets, hats and more, are also available for purchase at Shop.CoorsLight.com.

Coors Light unveils 2025 Super Bowl ad

Coors Light on Monday unveiled its 2025 Super Bowl ad, which aims to highlight just how tough a "case of the Mondays" can really be.

In the commercial, football fans are forced to face the "dreaded Monday after the national championship," except in this version, each fan is a sloth.

"Chaos ensues as the sluggish sloths struggle through everyday tasks: bagging groceries, sifting through emails, and even taking part in an epic, slow-motion chase," the company said in a news release.

A 30-second version of the commercial will air during the first half of Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, according to the brand.
