Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Fisker, Jeep among 305,000 vehicles recalled: Check car recalls here
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week, including notices for over 145,000 Hyundai vehicles for a charging issue.

Kia recalls:Over 62,000 vehicles: See affected models
Stellantis recalls Jeep Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L for incorrect vehicle speed
Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, is recalling 7,198 of its 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles.
The automobile company said in the NHTSA report that a software error in the instrument panel cluster may cause the speedometer to display the incorrect vehicle speed.
Driving without knowing the speed of the vehicle will increase the risk of a crash, the report said.
In addition, the government agency said that these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Displays and Controls."
To fix the issue, dealers will inspect and update the instrument panel cluster software as necessary for free, the report said. Recall notification letters are expected to be sent by Dec. 17. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is B8B.

Fisker recalls Ocean for transmission error
Fisker is recalling 7,745 of its 2023-2024 Ocean vehicles
The automotive company said in the NHTSA report that the transmission may not shift into the desired gear. This allows the vehicle to roll away while in drive or reverse, the report said.
A vehicle roll away increases the risk of a crash or injury, the report said.
Fisker released a free over-the-air (OTA) software update on March 11, 2024, the report said. Owners may contact Fisker customer service at 1-844-347-5371.

Honda recalls motorcycles for fuel pump failure
Honda is recalling 40,481 of its motorcycles.
The NHTSA report said the fuel pump impellers may have been improperly molded. This issue can cause them to deform and result in a fuel pump failure, the report said.
A fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall which will increase the risk of a crash, the report said.
To fix the issue, dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pump module as necessary, the NHTSA report said. This service will be completed for free. Recall letters are expected to be mailed by Jan. 6, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 24V-113.

Kia recall for loss of drive power
Kia is recalling over 62,000 of its 2022-2024 EV6 vehicles.
The automobile manufacturer is recalling 62,872 cars for a loss of drive power from a damaged charging unit. In the NHTSA recall report Kia said the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power and increase the risk of a crash.
Kia dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, if necessary, as well as update the ICCU software for free, according to the NHTSA recall report. Recall notification letters are expected to be delivered by Dec. 13 and owners may contact Kia customer service (1-800-333-4542). The NHTSA notice says this recall expands and replaces a previous recall (24V-200), and if your vehicle was repaired under the previous recall, you will need to have the new maintenance completed.

Hyundai recalls
Tucson, Santa Cruz for vehicle roll away
Hyundai is recalling 42,465 of its 2025 Tucson and Santa Cruz vehicles.
The automotive manufacturer said in the NHTSA report that the console extension wiring assembly may be routed improperly. This will allow the transmission to be shifted out of park without applying the brake pedal, the report said.
A transmission that can shift out of park without applying the brake pedal can cause a vehicle to roll away, the report said. This can increase the risk of a crash.
Owners that have the recalled vehicles are advised to use the parking brake when parking the vehicle. Dealers will reroute the console extension wiring assembly for free, according to the NHTSA recall report. Recall notification letters are expected to be delivered by Jan. 19, 2025. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 273.

IONIQ, Genesis over charging issue
Hyundai is recalling over 145,000 vehicles, including several IONIQ and Genesis models.
The automotive manufacturer is recalling 145,235 of its vehicles for a loss of drive power from a damaged charging unit. In the NHTSA recall report Hyundai said the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power and increase the risk of a crash.
Hyundai dealers will make service repairs for free, including inspecting and replacing the ICCU and its fuse, if necessary, and updating the ICCU software, the recall report said. Recall notification letters are expected to be sent by Jan. 17, 2025, but owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460 or Genesis customer service at 1-844-340-9741. This recall, which are numbers 272 (Hyundai) and 025G (Genesis), expands and replaces previous recall number 24V-204. If your vehicle was repaired under the previous recall, you will need to have the new remedy completed.
