Girl Scout Cookies available to all: How to buy Thin Mints and other classics

Girl Scout Cookies can be purchased and enjoyed by all starting Friday.

Perspective buyers who do not already know a Girl Scout will be able to purchase Thin Mints and other beloved classics to be directly shipped to home through the Girl Scout Cookie Finder.

This year's Girl Scout cookie season kicked off early last month and will run through the spring. All proceeds from each box sold stay with local troops and councils to fund experiences like camps, trips, service projects and other activities throughout the year.

It also allows girls to acquire entrepreneurial skills including goal setting, money management, decision-making, people skills and business ethics, making it "the largest entrepreneurial program in the world," according to Girl Scouts of the USA.

“Girl Scout Cookie season is about so much more than selling the iconic cookies people know and love," Wendy Lou, GSUSA chief revenue officer, said in a press release. "The funds girls earn throughout the season directly power girls’ journeys in leadership, entrepreneurship and community building. The sweet success of each sale is a testament to how much girls can change the world when they put their minds to it.”
