Powerball winning numbers for December 9 drawing: Jackpot reset to $20 million after win

The Powerball jackpot reset for Monday's draw after a player in New York purchased a winning ticket in Saturday's drawing.

The pot restarts at an estimated $20 million with a $9.7 million cash option after the New York winner took home either the annuitized prize of $256 million or a lump sum payment of $123.5 million.
