Lidl recalls buttered vegetables due to milk allergen not on label: See states affected
Lidl has recalled some of its buttered vegetable products because they contain milk that isn’t on the product label.
Lidl U.S. hasn’t received reports of illness related to the products but the German grocery store chain announced the recall Friday.
According to Lidl and the FDA, there is undeclared milk in the Taste of Deutschland Buttered Vegetables, frozen items that come in varieties such as carrots, peas, cauliflower, and corn. The milk puts people with milk allergies at risk for serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.
The recalled items are 10 ½. ounce boxes with the UPC number 4 056489 122876, the United States Food & Drug Administration said on its website.
